ChildWorks offers a summer enrichment program for children ages 2-8.
Your child will be exposed to activities that are
developmentally-appropriate. They will have opportunities to grow,
develop their skills and have lots of fun!
Each group will be very small to insure that each child receives as
much individual attention as possible.
Activities
Some of the fun activities your child will engage in include:
Developmental Play
Language Based Activities
Literacy Based Activities
Arts and Crafts
Sensory Time
Thematic Learning
Social Skills Training
Music Time
Circle Time
Movement Time....and much more!
Registration
Once you have decided that you would like to enroll your child in our
program we will ask that you fill out a registration form.
We will then have you come in for a brief screening. This will provide us
with an opportunity to meet and confirm the appropriate group
placement for your child. You will then be asked to submit a $35
non-refundable application fee and 50% of the program fee. The
balance of the program fees are due by June 15, 2010.
Please note that spaces in our program are very limited.
The Groups
Little Critters Ages: 2-3
Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00-11:30
Staff: A master's level special education teacher. College level interns
will be assisting in this group.
Dates: July 9th-August 13th (6 weeks)
Cost: $720 for the summer ($120/week)
Lady Bugs Ages: 4-6
Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:30-3:00
Staff: A master's level special education teacher. College level interns
will be assisting in this group.
Dates: July 9th-August 13th (6 weeks)
Cost: $1,200 for the summer ($200/week)
Caterpillars Ages: 3-4
Fridays from 3:00-4:00
Staff: A master's level teacher with experience working in Early
Intervention . College level interns will be assisting in this group. This
class is a literacy and learning program. Each week the children will
read a book and engage in activities based upon that week's story.
Dates: July 9th-August 13th (6 weeks)
Cost: $240 for the summer ($40/week)
Bumble Bees Ages: 4-6
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:15-11:45
Staff: A master's level special education teacher. College level interns
will be assisting in this group.

Big Birds Ages: 6-8
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-3:00
Staff: A master's level special education teacher. College level interns
